I recently made some RCA adapters for a balanced miniDSP, using commonly-available Y-adapters.

It is very easy, takes little time, requires no real skills, and ended up costing about $1 per channel ($8 shipped for 4 Y-adapters, each with two female RCA ends).

Very basic stuff, but I posted it because it may help some current or prospective miniDSP users who want the higher signal level capabilities of the Balanced unit, but have gear that uses RCA for I/O, who doesn't wish to cut existing RCA wires for whatever reason.

The tutorial is here.

Great tutorial and thanks for sharing it! A valuable resource for people wondering how to wire up the RCA. Thanks for sharing how easy it is. :-)
