Hello,

If needing to connect the minisharc I2S outputs to external DAC's (up to 4x) (not the MiniDac8), does the LRCLK and BCLK signal needs to be buffered?

As I understand it, Data_Out_1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8 are all driven individually, but all 8 channels are sharing the same LRCLK and BCLK.

I know curryman dac was able to drive 3 of his DAC sharing the same LRCLK & BCLK. But is that the limit? Can I connect LRCLK & BCLK to 4 external DAC (running in async mode - where the DAC has its own MCLK and only need LRCLK, BCLK, and data)?

Is there any official buffer board available? (I know curryman was also working on it, but not sure if it was released.

Unfortunately it's a bit of an impossible question to answer without knowing much of your setup (Eg.. length of wires, termination of clocks)
Using a buffer is safer for that reason especially when connecting multiple boards to a single clock.
