from the website:
Dirac Series
Harnessing the power of Dirac Live room correction algorithms along with miniDSP's hardware platforms, our team is excited to introduce a new range of Dirac powered platform to kick of 2014! This new product line of audio processors is fully integrated to the Dirac Live Correction Suite and provides a Plug&Play solution for Room Correction.
The following page is currently a place holder for our upcoming datasheet/user manual and application notes. We plan to start shipments by Mid/End of March a range of stereo processors (2xIN, 2 OUT) so stay tuned!

My current set-up is 2 large speakers + 1 subwoofer (note: with active crossover). How long will I have to wait or will there be a way to support 2 +1 at time of debut MiniDSP Dirac?

TYVM,
/Stefano

It should support your system just fine, all you have to do is make sure that the processing is done in advance of the crossover. This wouldn't work only in instances like the Sonos ZP120 where the music source, stereo amps and crossover are integrated into a single box with no processing loop.

Thank you John,
You're right and I'm lucky because all my appliances are independent: Pre + Crossover + Amplifiers, so I can put a MiniDSP DIRAC between the Pre and the Crossover ;)

The best way to hook it up, if it is analog in/out, will be to use a tape loop, if you have one, because then the signal will be processed at a high bit input, rather than a variable bit one. If not, between the source and the preamp, though obviously that is limiting to one source. If your preamp has digital inputs, then a digital feed from a CD player or media streamer and into a digital input would be the very best. If it's after that, then you want to reduce the volume of your amps so that you are close to maximum volume when doing serious listening. Or what I prefer to call "attentive listening".

I'm currently using DiracLive on my server. The issue I have is crossover/bass management so I am going through my SSP (digital input), disabling it's room correction but using it's bass management.

I love the idea of being able to use digital input and output but do you have a product that performs a bass management function that could be used in conjunction with the new Dirac products??
