Dear Forum members,

I am currently setting up my DDRC-24. It works fine with analog audio sources and one digital one over toslink with samplerate 48kHz. However, I do not get it to work with a digital source with samplerate 192kHz 24bit over toslink, although the Input should support this. (I know that the internal samplerate is just 48kHz). I get the source to work with a Denon AVR without problems, so I can assume that cable and data Integrity is not an issue.

Who can help. It would be really unfortunate, if I do not get this to work!

@senirrossi

Not sure what could be the case... Make sure your source is indeed a PCM, stereo. We test here with 192k during QC as part of the procedure under the Audio Precision. No problem.

In case this helps, I've also had failure to use 192/24 over optical from my blu ray player into my 22D. However, when I use the coaxial link it works fine. I assumed it was down to quality of signal or cable but didn't worry about it too much as I prefer co-ax anyway.

iirc some toslink tx/rx have a limitation to 96kHz
