Hi,

i have purchased dirac ddrc88a and upgraded to 88bm.
Seems i have problem with dirac software. It cant find any playback device, rescan does not help, cant press proceed also. I have arcam ir DAC and macbook. I have tried to install this version to another windows laptop. Same thing there.

I have tried dirac life demo version before purchasing ddrc88 and it was working ok (a bit buggy i have to say)
obviously i have uninstalled demo version before installing the one that came from mini dsp site together with 88bm upgrade.

There's a step in the installation procedure where you need to double-click on a file called "copy.bat" (Win) or "copy.command" (Mac)? Perhaps you missed that step?

You have a "permission denied" error in there. I'm not sure why... this is the latest download? Does the copy.command file have "sudo" in front of the "cp"?

To answer my own question: it doesn't. Not sure what's happened. If you feel brave you can open copy.command in TextEdit and add "sudo" at the start of the last line e.g.

sudo cp libMinidsp.dylib $HOME ...

else open a support ticket -> minidsp.desk.com

I am having this same problem on Win7. What is this "copy.bat"? I see no mention of it in the user guide or anywhere else. I activated successfully (so obviously the DDRC-22 program sees the unit) and I'm pretty sure all drivers and software are installed correctly.

copy.bat applies only to the DDRC-24 and the DDRC-88A/BM.

My problem in Windows was that the Direc software needs to be run as Administrator. Lame.
