Hello, I try to set up my DDRC22D, and it looks like a nightmare. I followed thoroughly the instructions, the software found the device, I got my licensing for the Dirac software too, and then when I tried my first filtering set-up. Impossible to get any sound out of this box. I selected the DDRC22 as output in the Dirac software, the UMIK-1 was found as well, and then.. Level testing : no sound, nada.
By the way, should I find the DDRC22D as a sound card in the sound peripherics of the PC ? It does not show up there, but as a generic one
Any idea ?
Thanks a lot
Jean-Pierre

@ Jpwolf,

It's just a first time use, possible that it does take time to learn to use a new product, like any new piece of gear. We're here to help. :-)

1) We're assuming that you've read the user manual inside out. if not, please make sure you do since it will be nearly impossible for you to run the unit without it. You'll just waste a lot of time. Sounds good?

2) How are you connecting this device in your system? Did you make sure that the master volume isn't at minimum or even muted? You can easily double check this from the DDRC-22 utility. (i.e. Connect - > See values on top right corner. ) If in doubt, just restore to default all to start from a clean slate.

3) When you're during the outputs level page, you should see some "PLAY" buttons to test the tones.

4) "By the way, should I find the DDRC22D as a sound card in the sound peripherics of the PC ?"
Mmmh, let's go back to point #1.. :-) Not sure which part of the user manual is showing this.. ;-) The USB is for control only. It will "not" show as a DAC. The usb is "not" for streaming of audio. Hoping this makes sense.

Feel free to send us some screenshots.
