Hi All,

Just installed my C-DSP 6x8 and wanted to upgrade the firmware from version 1.2 to the current 1.5.

I am following these instructions included with the plugin;

Firmware upgrade procedure (for both device main board and remote panel):

1. Power off the device.
2. Connect the device and the Small Remote Panel using the straight through telephone cable.
3. Copy the two firmware files (upgrade.hex and panel.cfg) into SD card.
4. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the device.
5. Power on the device.
6. After around 10 seconds, all four LEDs on the preset buttons of the Remote Panel will turn on.
7. The device is updating, wait until one of the Preset button's blue LED turn on again, this take around an extra 20 seconds.
8. Take away the SD card, delete the firmware files if they are not being deleted.
9. Power cycle the device. (i.e. Power off the device and then power it on again.)

I have copied both files to the root of the micro SD card but when I power up the DSP the blue led on the preset 1 starts flashing and stays like that for more than 5 minutes and of course, the firmware isn't upgraded.

Any suggestions? One problem that I can think of is that I'm using a 64Gb micro SD XC type, can the C-DSP 6x8 even read a card of that type and that capacity? Would it be worth me trying to track down an old SDHC or even an SD card? Does anyone have any experience here?

Cheers,

Josh
