We're extremely excited to announce that we finally have a Beta build for Volumio3 following few months of work on this!!

Besides the new GUI, it's solving quite few things related to new playlist mechanism that some regions (Qobuz CDN mechanism) have been fighting with. We'd love to get a small batch of "knowledgeable" customers to give us some feedback. As a beta tester, there are few things to know ahead, so please read "BEFORE" you send us an email. THanks! 

- Experience: Since beta testing involves knowledge of how the unit works, it's best we work with a small group of knowledgeable customers so our support team doesn't get mixed with the basics on how to use an SHD. Please only apply if you the SHD for more than 6months and know what Volumio is.. We understand that everybody would like to beta but unfortunately it will only slow us down on the process to release.. Great news is that the more knowledgeable group we get, the faster we approve it, the faster everybody enjoys the results! 

- Small size: Unfortunately due to the nature of how beta testing works and the small size of our team (Engineers directly involved), we could easily get overloaded if we get a large group of 100customers.. Let's try to keep it small so we can easily manage the request. We'll close the group asap we reach the good size for feedback. 

- Open to trying things out: This is a  beta build. We've spent hundreds of hours testing it and it's indeed possible we missed something. That's the nature of software dev! If you're worried about such case and getting upset that it doesn't work, it means you're the wrong target audience.   Beta testers are typically experienced with testing things out and happy to give us feedback. 

- Latest firmware/DSP: Please note that this builds will only run with the latest firmware/DSP. There has been lots of changes happening behind the scenes on the SHD as we keep pushing for excellence. If you're still running on an older plugin and didn't update to Device Console, we won't be able to help I'm afraid as Volumio3 only works with DC + latest firmware.

Asap we reach the size of the group we're happy with, we'll close the beta group.
