I have a use case with multiple users that don't have Spotify Accounts. As far as I can tell, I should be able to put my Spotify credentials into Volumio (this works). Then anyone can use the Volumio App to browse Spotify on the SHD (this works) and play something (this fails).

Yes, that makes sense. I assume you're running the latest version of Volumio?

I'm on System Version: 1.121. That's the Version that miniDSP instructed to install in the Q3 2022 Newsletter.
Looking at the newsletter again, it does say, "This plugin will handle native Spotify and Spotify Connect." I guess I should have read a bit closer. :)

For me, Spotify Connect is working fine but I can't get Native Spotify to play.

Here's an interesting fact:
I installed the Pandora plugin and it fixed the Spotify Native plugin. Tracks would play.
I uninstalled the Pandora plugin and the Spotify Native plugin stopped working.
I reinstalled the Pandora plugin and the Spotify Native plugin started working again.

My best guess is that the Spotify plugin is missing a dependency that is included with the Pandora Plugin. That's my best guess.

The updated version of Spotify really works better. Thanks to the tech department for their good work. Now Spotify's functionality is even more convenient.

Thank you so much for sharing the plugin. It works well on my computer. Here I want to share a way to play Spotify music without Premium. I have been using AMusicSoft Spotify Music Converter to convert songs to MP3 format, then listen to Spotify offline on my computer.
