Dear All

Over the years, we've been getting that question quite a few times and we're actually pretty sure that quite few of you didn't know that trick was possible. :-)
Most of miniDSP platforms will provide USB audio playback (PC/Mac to miniDSP direction) but also USB Audio recording (MinidSP back to PC/MAC). The DSP being essentially a 2x OUT, 4 x IN USB audio interface in the eyes of the PC/MAC. That little trick is especially useful when it comes to:
- Running a check on your filters with REW (i.e. loopback)
- Digitizing analog recordings, i.e. your miniDSP essentially turning into an Analog Recording Interface (ADC).

Here is a short app note on how to setup your recording software (Ocenaudio, Reaper, Protools..etc) to record that analog source.

Have a read, have a trial and let us know how it goes for you!

Have fun
