Dear All

FYI that we've just released a new XMOS firmware for better support on Linux audio platforms (e.g. RPi/Network audio streamers/Linux PC).
The firmware update applies to all 2x4HD/DDRC-24/SHD.

You can find the update under your user downloads section.

Have fun!

Thanks! Updated the DDRC24 and all is up & running.
Audio works fine with MacOS Mojave and Linux Debian Stretch.
The only thing I miss now, is the LED indication while using the infrared remote control. The previous firmware showed the red LED during activity, but the new firmware disabled it here.
Is it my mistake? Have I done something wrong?

I have updated my DDRC24 (up dated with plug in from 2x4HD) The firmware goes smoothly but now the DDRC and Dirac Live will no connect with the unit . I can see the unit in my Windows Task Bar and the PC recognises the unit and prepares it for connection and then says it is ready . If I open a 2-4 HD tool that will connect but then I have lost the Dirac Live facility .

What do I need to do to restore the Dirac Live function and the DDRC 24 control

Hi, I think that's a problem - you should use only the DDRC-24 plugin with the DDRC-24.
I am not miniDSP support.

Thank you for your advice but once updted with firmware update for the DDRC the HD 2-4 unit is exactly the same as the DDRC that you buy . If I used the 2- HD firmware update instead then this will change the unit back to a 2-4 HD which is not what I want .

I have taken the unit out of the system and just plugged it in to my PC . I then did a full Factory Reset and then did the new Firmware update (DDRC version) . Then sitched the unit off disconnected from the PC and then reconnected and it appears to working fine again and both DDRC controls and DIRAC live are now connecting and working .

Lost all my settings but not too much of a job to just reload the projects from my saved files and thngs are set back as they were . Music is back and working .

Thank you for anyone that has viewed and for the suggestions if anyone else has issues perhaps my work around will help

Have upgraded my 2x4HD but find no upgrade files for the nanoSHARC. As this has an XMOS chip would have expected an upgrade for that also?

Cheers
