My reading of the A/D D/A codec is that it provides several interpolation filters to choose from, eg slow response vs. fast response. Which filter is the 2x8 currently configured for? Wireless would of cause be amazing, but since android phones have a micro usb port it would be easy to hook it up with a micro to mini usb.

While I know the source code is proprietary, it would be a great community project.

About this last detail: the 4x10 system does not switch between analog and digital, and if you use both at the same time they will superimpose. Analog should be the 4th input option on VOL-FP, whenever the system supports both analog and digital inputs.

If two stacked SHARCs both run the 4x8 plug-in, most likely there will be several unused channels (maybe half) but no harm in that if their resources can be used by the other channels. Or, make a new 4x4 plug-in, and double the number of taps per channel.
