For my understanding:
- is this miniSHARC with 8 I2S in and out the equivalent of the existing 8in x 8out but with FIR ? If yes does it mean that a plug-in with a matrix mixer between the 8 digi chanels could be used like on the 8x8?
- if not will it be possible to link a miniSHARC with a 8x8? We would then have 8 FIR and matrix mixer?
- I guess that for every 2 digital input or output we should need a DIGI-FP, so 8 DIGI-FP for a 8 digi IN + 8 digi OUT system based on miniSHARC?

I hope you will include downsampling capabilities for each channel (similarly to four audio), to be able to make the most of the existing taps!
